Our beginnings: Studio L. Pagani
Studio L. Pagani was founded by Lalla and Walter Pagani as a labor advisory firm specializing in INAIL premium tariffs, social security law, and personnel administration. From the very start, the firm was built on a foundation of expertise, innovation, and a commitment to supporting businesses in managing their workforce.
Building industry leadership
Lalla Pagani’s degree in Political Science, with a focus on labor consultancy, expanded the firm’s legal expertise, establishing it as a trusted national reference point in labor and social security advisory.
Early technological innovation
With the launch of the payroll division, Lalla and Walter Pagani established E.re.s.s Data S.r.l., introducing the firm to computerized payroll management.
Sabrina Pagani and Enzo Peserico join the firm
Sabrina Pagani, daughter of the founders, joined the firm after graduating in law with top honors and a thesis in labor law. She quickly became a specialist in labor and social security matters, international assignments, and corporate transactions. In 1992, Sabrina’s husband Enzo Peserico, a lecturer for master’s programs at both the Catholic University of Milan and the University of Milan, joined the firm. His expertise in labor law and industrial relations was instrumental in the firm’s development in this sector.
Foundation of Studio Associato Dott. S. Pagani and Roberto Respinti’s involvement
Through a spin-off, Sabrina Pagani and Enzo Peserico founded Studio Associato Dott. S. Pagani, focusing on industrial relations, trade union law, and corporate labor advisory. Lawyer Roberto Respinti joined in 1996, strengthening the firm’s legal capabilities. During this period, the firm also welcomed young, talented professionals, many of whom remain key team members today.
Birth of Studio Pagani Payroll and Studio Associato Pagani
The acquisition of E.re.s.s Data S.r.l. led to the creation of Studio Pagani Payroll, launching a new era in payroll outsourcing with a focus on cutting-edge software solutions for medium and large companies. In 2003, Studio Associato Dott. S. Pagani evolved into Studio Associato Pagani, expanding expertise, services, and client partnerships.
Navigating challenges
The passing of Enzo Peserico was a moment of great sorrow but also reaffirmed the firm’s determination to grow. Roberto Respinti became a partner at Studio Associato Pagani working alongside Sabrina Pagani to lead the firm. Sabrina also took control of Studio Pagani Payroll, adopting cutting-edge technological solutions through partnerships with recognized industry leaders, marking a new chapter for Payroll Outsourcing services.
The firm’s commitment during the economic crisis
In 2008, the global economic crisis, originating from the United States, had immediate and severe effects on the Italian market. Many companies faced challenges, initiating reorganization processes and extraordinary corporate transactions. The firm stood by those responsible for corporate governance, providing competent and dedicated support to navigate the crisis and subsequent recovery.
Development and consolidation of the firm
The following five years saw consistent growth, with an increase in clients and areas of intervention. The firm strengthened its market position and fostered a cohesive, collaborative, and experienced professional community, enhancing internal interdisciplinary skills and service quality.
Studio Associato Pagani and Studio Pagani Payroll today
The tragic COVID-19 pandemic led to a significant increase in both professional and payroll activities. The implementation of social support measures mobilized all resources, and legal and payroll professionals—particularly in managing furlough procedures and remote work—worked continuously and expertly to support clients during this challenging period.
