Abstract
Workplace Video Surveillance: What the Court of Cassation Ruling No. 8375/2023 Says
Workplace video surveillanceย is becoming an increasingly common practice in companies, but its use in disciplinary proceedings raises sensitive legal issues. The Court of Cassation, in ruling No. 8375 of March 23, 2023, clarified that recordings from workplace cameras can be used to sanction employees’ misconduct, even if the surveillance was not aimed at a specific individual.
